Ideas that take up space.
BArch is a multidisciplinary studio for the built, the printed, and the programmed. We design buildings and interiors, finish them with care, build software, make notebooks, and give brands something to move to.
One studio, seven disciplines, and a single conviction: the best work feels inevitable.
We move between scales without changing our approach. A courtyard, a chair, a cover, an app, a title sequence — each is a chance to make something clear, useful, and quietly surprising.
Seven ways
to make a thing.
From the first site sketch to the app that keeps the building running. We assemble the right discipline around the problem, not the other way around.

A short distance
from idea to thing.
Small team, direct conversation, and a process built around making — not presenting.
Understand
the real brief.
We start with the constraints, the people, and the thing you keep circling back to. Then we state the problem in one clear sentence.
Find the
one move.
Options are cheap. We test the idea at the smallest useful scale — a sketch, a prototype, a screen, a section — until it holds.
Build it
properly.
Drawings, code, paper, motion. We keep the details close and the decisions documented, so the work survives contact with reality.
Leave it
ready to use.
A clear handover, a tidy set of files, and a studio that picks up the phone after the ribbon is cut.
A practice,
not a production line.
BArch began with architecture and kept expanding because the work demanded it. Today we keep a small core team and bring in trusted collaborators for each project — the right hands, not more hands.
“We care about the half-millimetre and the five-year plan. Good design lives in both.”Biruk Abraham — Founder & Creative Director
